best robotic cleaner and mop mop and vacuum (head to Northwestu) Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an app that can save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine-tune how much water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate through rooms while an obstacle avoidance function will stop it from hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are essential features for my house, filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum mop cleaner robot, so it is naturally packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by finding pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only needing to change the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for around 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've tried.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this model when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The high price is justified by its robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well throughout the entire home. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from all kinds of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's main highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also features a real-time safety detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. In addition the mops aren't adept at removing staining that is as strong as those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station needs to be cleaned as well as the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will also require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could find however, its cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors while cleaning up wet mess then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has a large battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the full width of the bot, and it is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being dumped into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. However, if you do select this option you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to use their own cleaner of choice.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map the area and navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot vacuum that vacuums and mops that can be bought at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum however it has some impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair from carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is complex, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually all areas mapped by this device or select specific rooms, an expandable zone or best robotic mop and vacuum a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized manner. Its 'Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning robot mop and vacuum with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to get rid of the last remnants of dust and debris left behind by the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
