How to Replace an audi keys G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor
The grey wire is situated on the outside of the transmission, directly above the flywheel ring. This sensor sends a signal via the grey wire to pin T55/49. The sensor serves as a reference to correlate with the G40 Camshaft Position Sensor. The ecu needs to be aware of when the crankshaft has reached TDC, and the location of the camshaft to trigger the spark and injectors.
If this sensor fails when it fails, the ECU will display an error code P00160. This means that the Crank Shaft is not in alignment with the Intake Camshaft. It could also be a sign of an issue with the chain or a jump in the chain link of the upper timing chain. The code will not appear without the additional information provided by other sensors (G4 or G40).
Testing can be a bit difficult because there are two pins for the connector and they have different functions but the most effective method of testing it is to measure the resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read approximately 1000 ohms if the sensor is in full operation. Check for signs of coolant, or oil in the connector bay if you are experiencing issues with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating from the highway paytoll at a high speed, i noticed a huge decrease in power. It was as if the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. Today, i pulled out the spark plugs. Three were drenched with gazoline the fourth one was dry. I put tissue over each hole in the injector and when I turn the engine on without sparks, the ones with gazoline jump out. The fourth one remains shut. I tried to test the ground connections of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I found 0ohm. I assume that the problem is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset the PID with no success. The car can start when the G28 is not plugged in and is running fine when it is connected but it still has the intermittent misfire issue at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for the coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature value of -49c even when i unplug it. Also i noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.0 when I crank up the engine.
I'm not sure what to do, but i feel i have pretty much ruled out everything else. But i am afraid I might have missed something. If anyone has any suggestions, please share them! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump of the g28 receives a signal from the RPM sensor. The GM-style sender is identical to the G4 and both are used in the 80, 100, 200, UrS and RS2 cars which is why you can easily locate one at a junkyard or at a parts store.
