Thank you for visiting????
I am the mother of two triplets, one girl and one boy, born in 2018, and one girl born in 2020.
I was born and raised in Osaka. Currently, I live in a rural town in Fukuoka Prefecture with a family of six.
Eldest daughter (triplets) → Ha-chan
Eldest son (triplets) → Ta-kun
Second daughter (triplets) → Sa-chan
Third daughter → Mii-mi
Please see my children's characters here????♀️
My home was completed in December 2022❤️
Thank you for all the comments on yesterday's blog????
[Expensive!] Is this normal for field trips?
The destinations and prices of daycare centers and kindergartens are different, so it was very helpful!
My husband knew that the price of chartered buses has nearly doubled since a decade ago, due to his job, so I think that accounts for a lot of it.
Still, I still feel that it is "expensive" as a public daycare event.
(Parent association fees are an additional 4,000 yen per person per year, so 16,000 yen per year)
I haven't been able to reply to everyone yet, but
I've received a lot of valuable examples and thoughts,
⬇️
I've put them together in a simple bullet point list (I won't copy and paste!!)
⬇️
There's a parent meeting in June (I became an officer this year)
⬇️
First, I'd like to ask the director of the nursery school to take a look at it for reference, and let them know that it's probably a burden for many families,
⬇️
However, there's only so much that the teachers at public nurseries can do (I understand that they're already struggling with the current conditions and thinking about the best way to do it)
⬇️
I'll raise the issue with the town council members!! !
(This is easy to take action on because it's a small town)
⬇️
I think the bus costs are a problem (I'll check with the daycare center).
If so,
could you suggest subsidizing event costs (even if it's just a portion) as part of the budget?
(They should be focusing on childcare projects.)
Or,
couldn't we use the microbuses in the town (several microbuses have been purchased for the new elementary school) on Saturdays when the elementary school is closed? Would that reduce the cost burden?
This is the only suggestion I can make, but
I want to ease the burden on families and continue to provide fun field trips for children...
Let's get the council members to do their jobs properly! ????
(I know a few council members.)
If you have any advice on how to raise the issue in this way, please let me know❤️
