Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an ode to the classic sextet structure and it was a more consistent, more powerful effort with a harder edge. Its more punk-rock sound reflected the maturation of the group and featured drummer Bobby Kimball's improved proficiency on the drums, as well as an improved, mature vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams. David Paich's keyboard playing was also more sophisticated, sharper, and less derivative on earlier efforts.

After touring to promote their album, the group recorded the band's Amsterdam live concert which was released on Eagle Records as a 2-CD set entitled Falling In Between.
