2. Injectors
Yesterday, when accelerating from highway paytoll at maximum speed I noticed a massive reduction in power. It was as if the engine was running out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning and found that 3 were soaked in gasoline, and the 4th was dry. When I start the engine with no sparks, i place a tissue on the top of each of the injector holes and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline pop out, but the 4th stay shut. I tried to test the ground connections of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I found 0ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is in another location.
I also tried to reset the PID with no success. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it runs fine with the G28 plugged in. However, the intermittent misfire problem still occurs at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature of that is -49c even after unplugging it. Also, i noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar, whereas the actual pressure is 0.0 if i crank up the engine.
I'm not sure what to do. I believe that I've all other possibilities out. I'm afraid i may have missed something. Let me know if you have any ideas! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
