Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced with an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can reroll their equipment in three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by melee and weapons while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To produce them, you require an upgrade level token for rerolling. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next Success is being rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players first need to identify the appropriate item upgrader kit, and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the item's durability. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to burden their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. However, there are numerous ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade items trinkets and helms. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.

Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be added in addition to an appropriate level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can add a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item level upgrade is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. In the same way, once an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with discounts.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this will destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor), the level of the item, the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
